John T. Rynd
Mr. Rynd was named Chief Executive Officer and President of Hercules Offshore in June 2008. In addition, he serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Company. Mr. Rynd has served in various executive level positions since joining Hercules Offshore in September 2005.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Rynd spent 11 years with Noble Drilling Services, Inc., where he served in a variety of management roles, including Vice President Investor Relations and Vice President Marketing and Contracts. Mr. Rynd also served in various management roles at Chiles Offshore, culminating in Vice President of Marketing. His experience also encompasses 10 years of service for Rowan Companies Inc., where he served in various roles of increasing levels of responsibility on offshore rigs.
Mr. Rynd serves as Chairman of the National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA), the Advisory Board for Spindletop International Charities, and the Board of Directors for Hornbeck Offshore, Inc. (HOS) – NYSE.
Mr. Rynd graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Troy L. Carson
Mr. Carson was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hercules Offshore in November 2014. Prior to this promotion, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Hercules Offshore since January 2013. He joined the Company as Vice President and Corporate Controller in March 2007, was appointed to Principal Accounting Officer in July 2008, and was named Chief Accounting Officer in May 2010.
Previously, Mr. Carson served as the Assistant Corporate Controller at Weatherford International Ltd., an international oilfield services company. In addition, he was a member of the Commercial Assurance Practice of Arthur Andersen LLP.
Mr. Carson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Todd A. Pellegrin
Mr. Pellegrin was appointed Senior Vice President, Worldwide Liftboat Operations in January 2013. He joined the Company in March 2006 and has served as the Vice President, Worldwide Liftboat Operations, Vice President International Liftboats and Managing Director for the West Africa Region.
Before joining the Company, he served as the Managing Director of Danos & Curole Nigeria, Ltd. In addition, Mr. Pellegrin was the International Business Development Representative based in Houston, Texas, for Danos & Curole. He also served as the CEO of South Central Planning and Development Commission in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
Mr. Pellegrin is a graduate of Nicholls State University, where he earned his B.S. and M.B.A. in business administration.
Beau M. Thompson
Mr. Thompson was appointed Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in March 2015. Prior to this promotion, he served as General Counsel and Secretary since November 2012. He joined the Company in May 2007 as Associate General Counsel, and in 2010 he became the Assistant General Counsel and Secretary.
Prior to joining Hercules Offshore, he was with Thompson & Knight LLP, where his practice focused on corporate and securities matters and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management with honors from Texas A&M University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Shannon P. Guidry
Mr. Guidry was named Vice President, Worldwide Drilling Operations of Hercules Offshore in July 2015. He previously served as Vice President, Operations Western Hemisphere, a role he entered in 2013.
Mr. Guidry joined Hercules Offshore in 1994 working on offshore rigs. He progressed to various senior management roles with the Company including General Manager International Operations, District Manager Mexico and Operations Manager U.S. Gulf of Mexico. His global operational experience also includes the North Sea, West Africa, Middle East and Southeast Asia.
