John T. Rynd – Chief Executive Officer and President
Mr. Rynd was named Chief Executive Officer and President of Hercules Offshore in June 2008. In addition, he serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Company.
Mr. Rynd has served in various executive level positions since joining Hercules Offshore in September 2005. Most recently, Mr. Rynd was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, a role he held since July 2007. He also served as Senior Vice President of Hercules Offshore and President of Hercules Drilling Company, LLC.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Rynd spent 15 years with Noble Drilling Services, Inc., where he served in a variety of management roles, including Vice President Investor Relations and Vice President Marketing and Contracts. Mr. Rynd also served in various management roles at Chiles Offshore, culminating in Vice President of Marketing. His vast experience also encompasses 10 years of service for Rowan Companies Inc., where he served in various roles of increasing levels of responsibility on offshore rigs.
In addition, Mr. Rynd serves on the board of CECO, the world's largest independent manufacturer of engine and compressor replacement parts.
Mr. Rynd graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Stephen M. Butz – Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Butz was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hercules Offshore in January 2013. Prior to his promotion, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hercules Offshore. Mr. Butz served as the Vice President Finance and Treasurer from March 2006 through May 2010. He joined the company in February 2005 as the Director of Corporate Development.
During 2004, Mr. Butz served as a consultant to Noble Corporation. From 1996-2004, he worked in the investment banking industry as an equity research analyst at Deutsche Bank and Jefferies & Company. Before joining Jefferies & Company, Mr. Butz held positions in corporate lending.
In addition, Mr. Butz serves on the board of Discovery Offshore, a pure-play, ultra-high specification jackup rig company.
Mr. Butz holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
James W. Noe – Executive Vice
President
Mr. Noe was appointed Executive Vice President of Hercules Offshore in November 2012. He served as Senior Vice President
- General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer
of Hercules Offshore since October 2005.
Previously, he served as Corporate Counsel
for BJ Services Company, a worldwide oilfield services provider. Mr.
Noe also served as Corporate Counsel for Single Buoy Moorings,
a Monaco-based company that designs, owns and operates floating
production systems (FPSOs and FSOs). Early in his career,
Mr. Noe was in private practice with the New Orleans law
firm of King, LeBlanc & Bland, where he focused on corporate
and commercial issues for oil and gas companies and shipyards. During
his private practice, Mr. Noe represented shipyards in large
naval construction disputes before the U.S. Court of Federal
Claims and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He
also represented vessel and rig owners in large construction disputes and
arbitrations in Europe and the Far East.
In addition, Mr. Noe serves on the board of Discovery Offshore, a pure-play, ultra-high specification jackup rig company.
Mr. Noe holds a Bachelor of Arts with
honors from the University of Alabama and a Juris Doctorate
from Louisiana State University. He
is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Texas.
Terry L. Carr – Senior Vice President, Worldwide
Drilling Operations
Mr. Carr was appointed Senior Vice President, Worldwide Drilling Operations in January 2013. He joined Hercules Drilling Company, LLC, as Vice President
Worldwide Operations in January 2007.
Most recently, Mr. Carr was employed
by ENSCO International, an offshore drilling contractor,
where he served as Manager, Operations for the company’s
expanding Asia Pacific Region. Before
joining ENSCO in 2001, he spent nearly 20 years with Reading & Bates
Corporation (now R&B Falcon) where he held numerous key
international operations and marketing roles.
Mr. Carr is a veteran of the United States Army and is a graduate
of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York.
Troy L. Carson – Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer
Mr. Carson was named Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Hercules Offshore in January 2013. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Chief Accounting Officer, a role he entered in May 2010. He joined the Company in March 2007 as Vice President and Corporate Controller.
Previously, Mr. Carson served as the
Assistant Corporate Controller at Weatherford International
Ltd., an international oilfield services company. In
addition, he was a member of the Commercial Assurance Practice
of Arthur Andersen LLP.
Mr. Carson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University. He
is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
W. Brad James – Senior Vice President,
Marketing
Mr. James was named Senior Vice President, Marketing of Hercules Offshore in January 2013. Prior to this appointment, Mr. James was the Vice President Marketing, a role he entered
in July 2007 following the acquisition of TODCO, where
he held the same position.
Previously, he held several positions
at Transocean Inc., the most recent as Marketing Manager
North America. Prior to joining Transocean Inc.,
Mr. James held various domestic and international marketing
and management positions over the course of 20 years for
R&B Falcon Corporation, Cliffs Drilling Company and
other privately held drilling companies.
Mr. James holds a degree in business administration
from Southwest Texas State University.
Richard E. McClaine – Senior Vice
President, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment
Mr. McClaine was named Senior Vice President, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment in January 2013. Previously, he served as Vice President Health, Safety and
Environment of Hercules Offshore, a role he entered in September 2006.
Mr. McClaine’s previous experience includes
more than 25 years in the oil and gas industry. Prior
to joining the Company, he worked with Syntex Management
Systems, a provider of enterprise risk-management software. He
also served as Vice President Safety, Training and Environmental
Affairs at GlobalSantaFe.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in MarineTtransportation
from Texas A&M
University.
Todd A. Pellegrin – Senior Vice President, Worldwide Liftboat Operations
Mr. Pellegrin was appointed Senior Vice President, Worldwide Liftboat Operations in January 2013. He joined the company in March 2006 and has served as the Vice President, Worldwide Liftboat Operations, Vice President International Liftboats and Managing Director for the West Africa Region.
Before joining the Company, he served
as the Managing Director of Danos & Curole Nigeria, Ltd. In addition, Mr.
Pellegrin was the International Business Development Representative
based in Houston, Texas, for Danos & Curole. He
also served as the CEO of South Central Planning and Development
Commission in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
Mr. Pellegin is a graduate of Nicholls State University, where
he earned his B.S. and M.B.A. in business administration.
Claus E. Feyling – President, Hercules International Holdings Ltd.
Mr. Feyling was appointed Vice President
International Business Development of Hercules Offshore
in July 2007 upon the acquisition of TODCO, where he held
the same position since April 2006. In December 2011, he was named President and Director of Hercules International Holdings Ltd.
Previously, he served as Director Business
Development and Manager Marketing and Business Development
for Pride International, Inc. from 2001-2005. Mr.
Feyling’s history also includes Vice President Marketing
and General Manager Asia Pacific for Marine Drilling as
well as numerous rig operations management positions for
Odfjell Drilling Asia.
Mr. Feyling has a background in mechanical
engineering from Bergen Technical University, Norway.
Cecil H. Bowden – Vice President Engineering and Capital Projects
Mr. Bowden joined Hercules Offshore in January 2009 as Director of Engineering and Offshore Projects.
His previous experience includes various project management and engineering roles at Noble Corp., Global Marine Drilling Co., and Western Oceanic Drilling Co.
Mr. Bowden served in the United States Navy, attended the University of Southern Louisiana, and has over 30 years of industry experience.
John B. Crabtree – Vice President Technical Support, Compliance and Maintenance
Mr. Crabtree joined Hercules Offshore in July 2007.
His previous experience includes various project management, engineering and operations roles at TODCO, R&B Falcon Drilling USA, Service Marine Industries, Inc., Dredge Systems, Inc. and Kenner Marine and Machinery, Inc.
Mr. Crabtree is a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, registered with the Louisiana State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, and holds a Bachelor of Marine Engineering Technology from Mississippi State University.
David R. Hatcher– Vice President
International Operations
Mr. Hatcher was named Vice President International Operations in February 2008. Prior to this appointment, he held the positions of General Manager International Operations, Manager Latin America and Special Projects and District Manager Latin America.
Before joining the Company, he held the position of District Manager for Transocean where he oversaw their West African fleet. Prior to joining Transocean, he was with Cliffs Drilling Company where he held the roles of Vice President – Venezuela Operations and Controller, Drilling Division. He also spent 14 years in various operations and accounting roles for Zapata Offshore, Co.
Mr. Hatcher holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas and he is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Charles A. Lestage – Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer
Mr. Lestage joined Hercules Offshore in July 2011 as Associate General Counsel and Deputy Compliance Officer.
His previous experience includes various accounting roles at Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young and later as a litigation attorney at Thompson & Knight LLP.
Mr. Lestage holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with honors from Louisiana State University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Craig M. Muirhead – Vice
President and Treasurer
Mr. Muirhead was appointed Vice President and Treasurer in May 2011. Previously he served as Assistant Treasurer for Hercules Offshore.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Muirhead gained experience in various financial planning and analysis roles at Cameron International as well as sales of steel tubing to oilfield equipment manufacturers and distributors for an international broker.
Mr. Muirhead holds a BA in Mathematical Economic Analysis from Rice University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Kimberly A. Riddle – Vice
President Human Resources
Ms. Riddle was named Vice President, Human Resources of Hercules Offshore in May 2011. She joined the Company in March 2008 in Human Resources as the Compensation Manager.
Prior to joining Hercules Offshore, Ms. Riddle served as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte Consulting and has over 20 years of experience in human resources, specializing in compensation management.
Ms. Riddle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Houston.
Beau M. Thompson – General Counsel and Secretary
Mr. Thompson joined the Company in May 2007 as the Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary. In 2010, he became the Assistant General Counsel and Secretary.
Prior to joining Hercules Offshore, he was with Thompson & Knight LLP, where his practice focused on corporate and securities matters and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management with honors from Texas A&M University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Lawrence A. Uter – Vice President Risk and Chief Contracts Counsel
Mr. Uter was appointed Vice President Risk and Chief Contracts Counsel of Hercules Offshore in September 2009. Previously, he served as Assistant General Counsel for Hercules Offshore.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Uter served in various legal capacities with Global Industries, Ltd., TransCoastal Marine Services, Inc., Louisiana Insurance Guaranty Association, Maxus Energy Corporation and Texaco, Inc.
Mr. Uter holds Bachelor of Arts, Juris Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration degrees and is licensed to practice law in Texas and Louisiana.
Son P. Vann –
Vice President Investor Relations and Planning
Mr. Vann was appointed Vice President Investor Relations and Planning of Hercules Offshore in March 2012. He joined the Company in June 2010 as the Director, Investor Relations and Finance.
Prior to joining Hercules Offshore, he served in various financial roles in the investment banking industry at Jefferies & Company, Solomon Smith Barney and UBS.
Mr. Vann holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and is CFA Charterholder.
John F. Wasmuth – Vice President Tax
Mr. Wasmuth was named Vice President Tax of Hercules Offshore in March 2012. Previously, he served as Director of Tax since joining the Company in August 2010.
His extensive experience in the oil and gas industry includes positions with Repsol Services Company, Cameron International and Shell Oil Company.
Mr. Wasmuth holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Liftboats
Renee M. Pitre – Vice President
Finance
Ms. Pitre joined Hercules Liftboat Company,
LLC, as the Vice President Finance in November 2004.
Previously, she was employed by Global Industries
for more than seven years where she served as a Division
Controller for four divisions (nine business units). She
also worked for Sub Sea International where she held numerous
roles of increasing responsibility, the most recent being
Assistant Controller for the Americas region.
Ms. Pitre is a graduate of the University
of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
